Application Requirements (Non-VSLO)

Einstein will start accepting online applications March 19th, 2024​. Applications received before this date will not be reviewed. Einstein will email visiting students regarding registration at least 30 days prior, ​if not sooner​, to the start of the rotation block.

Students from Sackler School of Medicine, Technion, and our approved International Exchange Programs should submit one application completed in its entirety (including all requirements listed below) and only the first page of the visiting student application for each additional elective. ​All visiting student have a maximum of 3 elective/4 weeks.​


EINSTEIN ONLY ACCEPTS STUDENTS FROM THE FOLLOWING MEDICAL SCHOOLS: ​
  • Hadassah Medical School of the Hebrew University in Jerusalem
  • Einstein-Paris Exchange Program of the University of Paris system
  • Karolinska Institute in Sweden
  • Saitama Medical School in Japan
  • School of Medicine of Ben Gurion University of the Negev in Israel
  • Medical School for International Health (MSIH) -Ben Gurion University of the Negev in Israel
OFFICE OF INTERNATIONAL SERVICES

All International Exchange Students must obtain a mandatory B-1/B-2 visa or Visa Waiver Program to participate in the Albert Einstein Exchange program. Once accepted into the elective, Einstein’s Office of the Registrar will provide supporting documentation from the Office of International Services (OIS).

This document will be sent to you, along with instructions to obtain the B-1/B-2 visa from a US Embassy/Consulate abroad. For additional information regarding approved Exchange Students coming from Abroad, please contact the Assistant Registrar.

2. Photo-passport size (stapled to application)
3. Approval Letter from authorized Home Medical School official
4. Completed Health/Immunization form: ​AAMC Standardized Immunization Form
5. Curriculum Vitae
6. Official Transcript
7. Copy of Personal Health Insurance Card (front and back)
8. Copy of current BLS/ACLS card
9. Copy of HIPAA certificate
10. Copy of Mask-fit testing
11. Copy of OSHA/Infection Control
